Week at Vivi's

We have had some little construction at our house this summer.  I figured while the house was already such a mess, why not repaint the whole place?  Great idea, but not with a toddler running crazy all over the house.  So we headed to my parents house for the week to get out of the way.  Walker had a great time, played with new toys and got so spoiled!  Walker will still frequently ask about toys, activities or things at Vivi and Daddy D's house.

Aunt Laura Moves :(

Matt's sister, Laura, lived in Dallas for less than a year.  It was fun to have family close and Walker loved getting to frequently see Aunt Laura!  Laura got a big new promotion and took a job in Atlanta.  We were sad to see her go.  Although, we know that she is loving life in Atlanta.



July 4th

We had a wonderful July 4th!  We had our Supper Club group over for dinner.  So fun to celebrate the holiday and spend time with best friends.  Matt had picked up some small, minor fireworks early that week.  He had bought a little firework car for Walker.  Walker was so excited...until Matt lit the firework.  Then, Walker burst into tears.  He just couldn't believe that Dad caught his new car on fire.  He had a difficult time recovering.  In the end, sparklers were a better bet.

Why do I not have more pictures?  I guess that I only picked up my camera that the beginning of the party.  I don't have a picture with all my girl friends...so sad!  I mostly just wish that I had a picture or video of Jason singing at the end of the night.
