November in a Flash

I can't believe that I haven't blogged since Halloween.  I am just now getting around to sharing what we did back in November...but is already mid-Feburary.  Where did the time go? Looking at these pictures it seems like yesterday!  Just wanted to give you a quick catch up on our November.

We went to visiting Matt's family in Connecticut for Thanksgiving.  We stayed at Carl and Risa's house and met Dave, Cyndy, Amanda and Eliza there.  Gramma Cyndy bought Walker a harmonica.  He was a walking little one man band the the end of the weekend.

Had a great Thanksgiving with the Zolfo and Mathis family!  Matt and I were even able to make a little adult getaway to NYC for the day.

Halloween

We had a happy halloween with our cute little dragon.  We went to the Trunk or Treat at church on Sunday.  Walker loved seeing his friends dressed up, looking at the firetruck and checking out the animals at the petting zoo.  On halloween night we had the Brewer's and Watkin's over for dinner.  They have both recently had little ones and we thought this would be a good outing for them and a chance to feed them dinner.  We had a great time!  The little babies were angels and looked precious in their tiny costumes.  Walker LOVED trick or treating!  He repeatedly said "just one more house".  Although, he said that about 12 times.  He hated the scary costumes that some of the other kids had on.  Walker would scream, cry and yell "scary, Mommy".  My little dragon was adorable and made the night so fun for everyone.  Love. Him.
Walker and Anna. I don't think they recognized each other.
Walker and Lucy.  He asked for "Buzz Light" the rest of the day.
Sweet friends Ella Grace, Haven and Walker
Walker and Jillian.  I promise Walker does have some boy buddies, but mostly girls :)

First Haircut

Walker got his first haircut...finally!!  It was just so hard to pull the trigger. I just loved his shaggy little hair.  I was so emotionally attached to it.  It was pathetic.  He loved the experience.  It might have had something to do with the train table, bubbles, movie and prizes.  He did a great job and sat so still.  He looks so much older now.  I can't get over it!

Texas State Fair

Walker and I made a trip to Fair Park to enjoy the Texas State Fair.  We had a great time and enjoyed the beautiful weather!

They had the cutest little program "little hands on the farm".  Walker loved feeding the animals, collecting eggs and milking and cow.

corndog...yumm!  Walker cried when a little piece of the corndog fell on the ground.
You can look at his face and tell how to feels about the funnel cake.  It was to die for.  I didn't eat any of it...yeah right!

a little of this, a little of that..

Random pictures of what we have been up to lately.  It is always eventful over here!

Our Birthday Boy

Can't believe that our little man is 2 years old! These past 2 years have flown by. We had a such a fun day celebrating! We went to Yummy Donuts to enjoy a "birthday cake donut". It looked ridiculous and was a huge hit with Walker. I wouldn't even touch it, but I did have a plain glazed and chocolate glazed donut....so I was completely good. Then we went to Bible study at church, the hospital to visit the Brewer's and baby Charlie and had a Chick fil A picnic at home. We had a fun family night with one of Walker's favorite dinners: Mexican Rice! Walker loved his Lightning McQueen cake. He enjoyed the spotlight while we sang to him and he blew out the candle. He was so cute opening his birthday gifts this year and got really into it. Happy Birthday, Walker Matthew!

Bo brought Walker a bithday gift.  Walker was just worried about Bo stealing his chicken nugget.

Sweet Walker,
You are such an indescribable gift!  We are so blessed by your laughter, your sweet attitude and your little voice.  You fill our house and days with such joy!  You are going to be the best big brother.  The past two years have been the best yet and we know that only better days are ahead.  We love you to the moon and back!  Love, Daddy and Mommy
